Norman - Shalowseas True Or False
Norman is Terri's big soft newfie boy. He is affectionately called 'Stormin Norman' but that is in fun as he is a seriously laid back newfie.
Norman was born in June 2010 and by the time he was old enough to come to Grangewaters in the autumn the training season was nearly over so he missed being introduced to the water as a pup.
At first Norman was reluctant to swim and Terri was dispairing that he would be a good water dog until the penny dropped and he suddenly decided during a training session in mid May that swimming was fun.
The look of joy on Terri's face was one of the memorable moments of the 2011 season ... it pays to persevere!
Norman has since showed developing skills and is shaping up as a good water worker, he passed Section A at his first attempt and was very close to a Section B pass too. He's even had a first go at some draught work.
